It’s Raining Day With Cappuccinos, Naps, Food, and Travel – Q&A From My YouTube Channel
There comes a day when there isn’t much going on. Rainy day is always slow, anywhere. Today, all that there is to know is that I will hang around the airport and wait for my flight.
In the meantime, I’ll grab a cup of coffee and try to do something useful. Computer setup is always a less boring choice. I bought my new 16-inch Macbook Pro before I got here. I used this all last night and still got a full charge. I also have an iPhone12 Pro Max and am planning to buy a camera and microphone to complete vlogging and blogging equipment. I also have a sim card and Brian was telling me how we could get 40 GB here, which is awesome!
I was chatting with some followers on my YouTube account about the people out here. You should know that this here is so different culture! I call Colombia The Land Of Smiles. I really cannot make a comparison in almost any area. I must say that it’s easier to break the ice in Asia, and it’s harder to break the ice here, but once the ice is broken, it’s way more genuine and warm, and long-lasting. I don’t think people give the time of day to strangers, but once you’re no longer a stranger, you get the world! You get anything you want.
In Asia, you get back what you give. And here in Colombia, you get back more than you give. From strangers, you get a lot of warmth.
As for the women, I had my best luck with girls who work at the bank. I go in and ask if my debit card will work, and then ask them to launch.
What gets me the worst about traveling is how nothing in the Third World, no
guarantees!
I’ll tell you the story of today. I bought this ticket on Wednesday and when I put my credit card in on the website it said payment processing for manual verification. I went to the airport yesterday because I said I want to buy this ticket and I want to make sure I get a ticket I need to plan, I want to make sure I get this ticket and I want to make sure that on Saturday.
I can fly out of here. I came here yesterday and they said okay, no problem here’s
your reservation code, all is done. And today I get here and there’s no reservation, I have to buy another ticket, cancel the first one, make sure it doesn’t go through, buy the next, buy this new ticket, so it’s way more difficult to make plans here, anywhere in the third world.
Are you doing YouTube for AdSense? Not. I really care more about documenting my adventures. That’s why I do this. It’s to talk to people and meet people. It’s more like a social media thing than anything else.
On this day I received tons of questions on my YouTube channel so please click the link below to go there and hear the rest of the questions and answers.
