Motovlog to Los Navados National Park: Waterfalls, Volcano Area, and OFF-ROAD with Honda XRE 300. Donkey Business Included.
Protecting Your Most Exposed Self
It was a great sunny day, and I was ready to rock and roll, heading for the mountains. But first to see if there is a little store in town to buy some warmer clothes. I was comfortable in my usual clothing, but I knew that autumn would take its course over the next few days. And I did buy a scarf to cover my ears. That scarf over the ears is a game-changer, there are some points of the body that you need to take care of – ears, fingers, and toes. And then you are off to go!
Donkey Business
Climbing the mountain with my Honda XRE 300 I stopped to see what some people were laughing at just next to the road, and it turned out that it was a young donkey feeling rather friendly, totally in the mood for some petting. And we did that!
Visiting Los Navados National Park
Now, climbing to Los Navados National Park is something. It was freezingly cold, and I was patting my back for going for it! At the same time, It was so very windy, misty, and later on – hot!
I came to the sign for the Los Navados that explained all the routes throughout the national park. Some seemed rather challenging but were unfortunately not opened for motorcycles. And the sign was made of wood with all the routes and signs and naming carved in. It is such an amazing way to remain in peace with nature.
I already mentioned somewhere how much I love mountains. At this place, amazingly, wherever you look you get to feel how small you are in this world and how beautiful it is when it is untouched.
I’ve come across many, many motorcycles. The road to this place is not so great, and it is not only the most adventurous but the best way to reach this place. The road is narrow, with many holes, ups, and downs, and I thanked myself for having my Honda with me since I had to fight for my piece of the road, and it was fierce.
Once you reach the waterfalls and waterfall cascade, you suddenly figure that it is not cold anymore. What seemed to be a fog in the distance now became boiling waterfalls evaporating in thin air, and the sight of it is something. And the feeling – like being on a cloud. Just looking up a bit out of this place, but still close to here – you can see snowy peaks.
Visitors are a bit over courageous. The dangerous parts of this place are not marked or protected. Things are the way nature made them. And people climb up the impossibly risky places, just take a photo of themself! You could not see this in America.
Now, this was some adventure! One of the best rides that I’ve had so far and the most wonderful place that I’ve ever seen here!
