Vintage Car Museum Walk Around and Enduro Moto Vlog In Colombia
Maybe these places that I visit aren’t huge and you can get to know them in a single walk, but surrounding areas are just breathtaking! And the places that you get to know while stoping for the break are like nothing you’ve seen elsewhere!
I was riding all over the area and was looking for a place to have my coffee. I noticed the sign, there was enough space to park the bike, and the welcoming sight was rather strange: on the very entrance, I saw a long chain of homemade, dried sausages and cooked corn that visitors can take for a meal. When I think it a bit over, I’ve met places like this before here – people growing their meal from barn to the plate. And the surrounding of the place seems to be minimalistic and recycled: wooden tables and benches, big barrels used as a perfectly working sink, just to name a few. But the view that comes with your coffee is great! The very place seems to be built on the very cliff!
I installed some new equipment on my helmet earlier, microphone and camera, and this was a great opportunity to check it out and do some adjusting if needed. Someone asked me if I feel the weight on the helmet with these installed, and I must say – yes, but after a couple of minutes you just forget it and it becomes completely normal. It surely is not making me uncomfortable. Wouldn’t wear it otherwise.
Motorcycling Around Santa Rosa
Roads in this part of the country are good. Riding feels safe and roads are not overcrowded. Maybe I am missing a good view that I’ve had before. But the thing to watch for is taking care of the elevation of the area. It may be challenging if you are riding nights, so you need to be careful about it.
I took a trip to a new place, am not sure what is it called, Santa Rosa maybe, but I went on looking for a bank. It was some heavy traffic out there, all vehicles moving extremely close to one another. You can yield out loud, but it is considered to be a sign of weakness, so maybe not. And city roads are full of speed bumps. Can’t even imagine what it would be like if these were not set.
I really like to ride a motorcycle here, it is virtually the best place on earth to do this and I’m loving it!
At Vintage Car Museum
One of the things you can do while staying in Colombia is – go to San Francisco. Really! I passed through this place, but then I went back to see it. It was the place where I saw some vintage cars, so I decided to come back and visit.
There is a cafe where I took a drink and went on about to see everything that is out there. “San Francisco Picnic and Cars”. I saw amazing models. It makes me wonder how did they manage to get them here in the first place! Simca 1204 model, BMW, old Suzuki, 1930s Bellaire, Old Willy’s Jeep, Fiat 600, Volkswagen called Safary and a bunch of classic motorcycles and vending machines.
All these vehicles are very well taken care of. They are clean, all set, and looking ready to move. Now, what seems to be just unreal is that all of these, on this very place, look completely normal, weird, and cool. And I’m loving it!
